The work ‚hide and seek‘ is placed on a billboard in public space, after invitation by the Culture Departement of the city of Munich. The image on the 5 x 5 meter board is an optical illusion and it mirrors parts of the historical facade from the opposite. But in fact a real mirroring is not possible, as the building and the board are not parallel to each other. Therefore the viewer becomes irritated and questions his ability to see and understand.
Die Arbeit ‚hide and seek‘ ist ein Plakat im öffentlichen Raum, entstanden durch Einladung des Kulturreferats München. Das Bild auf der 5 x 5 Meter großen Plakatwand ist gedacht als eine optische Illusion, die Formen der historischen Fassade von gegenüber aufgreift und diese gewissermaßen spiegelt. Allerdings wäre eine echte Spiegelung unmöglich, da die Wand im 90 Grad Winkel zur Hausfassade steht. Somit wird der vorbeigehende Betrachter irritiert und seine Wahrnehmung auf die Probe gestellt.
